We have stepped in to provide essential banking services to a lot of small towns in rural and regional Australia devastated by the closure of their local bank branches and the removal of their bank ATMs. We are committed to both providing affordable access to cash to some of the most economically vulnerable communities in Australia, and to a fair reform in the ATM industry that will give incentives to independent operators, like Mandrake.ATM, to set up more ATM terminals in these communities.

The executive directors of Mandrake.ATM are in the process of establishing and funding a not-for-profit research institute and foundation dedicated to supporting the production and dissemination of knowledge in the social sciences, arts and humanities on intersectional issues of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, class, religion and race primarily, but not exclusively, in Australia, the Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe.
